I’ve been a successful freelance writer and developmental editor for more than 20 years, working on hundreds of articles for journals and websites, and numerous reports and books.
In addition to extensive work for the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy, EDUCAUSE Review, the Georgia Health Policy Center, and IEEE Computer Society, I’ve helped many individual authors and researchers across the world meet their publishing goals.
I’ve been fortunate to learn from many brilliant mentors over the years, both in classrooms and on the job. My formal education includes a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Utah and a master’s degree in English from Claremont Graduate University. Prior to becoming a freelancer, I spent five years working as a staff editor and news writer at the West Coast publications office of the IEEE Computer Society.
