The Internet has no off switch.

Once you hit Send, Publish, or Submit, your words are out there. Working for you... or not.

I can help ensure that your words get the job done.

To rise above the 24/7 information onslaught in today’s world, your work needs more than the basic writing and editing offered by faceless apps and services.

I’m Keri Schreiner. At Words 24/7, I provide high-level, personalized writing and developmental editing services for your priority content. The result is text that is clear, concise, and compelling—and a pleasure to read.

My Services

Whether you’re looking to publish in a top journal, report out your organization’s research, or revamp your website content, I can help make sure that your writing works for you around the clock.

Editing Services

I specialize in developmental editing, which starts with a rigorous copy edit and then goes deeper, focusing on the language itself. My goal with the edit is to ensure that the writing is concise, powerful, and polished throughout; the information flows logically; and the stakes are clear to maximize your work’s impact.

In addition to developmental editing for native English-language writers, I regularly work with clients for whom English is a second language to ensure that their work gets the attention it deserves.

Writing Services

I have more than 20 years’ experience writing for organizations, magazines, and websites.

Whether I’m writing news articles, website content and blogs, or company reports and proposals, my goal is always the same: to create a clear, informative, and engaging experience for your readers.

If you have a project you’d like to discuss, I’d love to hear from you.

About

I’ve been a successful freelance writer and developmental editor for more than 20 years, working on hundreds of articles for journals and websites, and numerous reports and books.

In addition to extensive work for the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy, EDUCAUSE Review, the Georgia Health Policy Center, and IEEE Computer Society, I’ve helped many individual authors and researchers across the world meet their publishing goals.

I’ve been fortunate to learn from many brilliant mentors over the years, both in classrooms and on the job. My formal education includes a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Utah and a master’s degree in English from Claremont Graduate University. Prior to becoming a freelancer, I spent five years working as a staff editor and news writer at the West Coast publications office of the IEEE Computer Society.
